Allergies can seem like a real illness.
When an infection attacks, an amazing defence mechanism goes into action.
The body endeavours to rid itself of the invading infection and this shows up as symptoms of illness, e.g., coughing, sneezing, fever, vomiting, aches, tiredness, and these are signs of the battle that is going on to remove the invading toxins from the infection.
If not treated, the symptoms may increase with possibly serious results.
Likewise, if you are in contact with the allergen frequently it will produce toxins in the body, which cause similar reactions to the above. An allergic condition of which you are unaware can produce conditions that are equally serious.
They often produce symptoms that seem like other conditions.

Overweight problems can be caused by allergens being stored in the body in fat and fluid.
Underweight problems can be caused by nutrients not being absorbed by the body, because the body rejects them as enemies.
If such conditions are not diagnosed properly patients may receive
treatment procedures that may complicate their condition.

Mild allergies, intolerances or sensitivities can be a nuisance, but for some, contact with an allergen can produce toxins which behave just like a poison with unfortunate consequences and can in some cases be fatal.
The milder the complaint the more difficult diagnosis is. How do you treat a person for feeling less than 100%, out of sorts, with a slight loss of memory, a persistent sore throat or cough, a headache that does not respond to pain killers, eczema or tingling that comes and goes and seems worse at some times than others?
People have been to their doctors many times and have been ignored, been
told that they are hypochondriacs, that it is all in their imagination or they are suffering from a nervous disorder.
What is an allergy?
An allergy is a condition of unusual sensitivity of one person to one or more
substances which may be harmless to the majority of other individuals.
In the allergic person, the allergic substance, known as an allergen, is viewed
by the brain as a threat to the body’s well-being and tries to eject it from the body.
Well known responses are rashes on the skin, mucous in the sinuses and lungs, causing breathing difficulty, ,runny nose and eyes, itchy eyes, sneezing, coughing, swelling of body parts, loose bowels or constipation, flatulence and bloating, headaches and migraine.
However, there are many other responses that are not obvious, for example, unexplained tiredness, irritability, emotional outbursts, irrational behaviour, hyperactivity, lack of concentration and the inability to get on well with certain people.
From an energetic point of view, which is what I am concerned with, an allergy is a disharmony of energies between the person and the substance.
Everything has an energy field, even inanimate objects, and a person with an
allergic reaction to something is experiencing an over-reaction by the immune system to that substance and there is a disharmony of energy fields, rather like two magnets that are pushing away rather than attracting.
In Allergy Magic and NAET, an allergen is defined as something that alters or upsets the energy flow in the body causing blockages in the energy pathways.
These energy blockages cause interference between the brain and the body and the communication via the nervous system becomes faulty. This blocked energy flow is the first step towards the development of an allergic response., which then leads to a poor state of health in one or more organs or systems in the body. If untreated, one allergy leads to another as more and more energy pathways become blocked.
Testing and treating allergies
There are various types of testing techniques used in Western medicine such as scratch tests, patch tests, intra-dermal tests, blood tests, and hair analysis, which is the closest to Allergy Magic.
With ALLERGY MAGIC I use a blend of dowsing and energy field work.

Until recently there has been no satisfactory method for treating allergies, except for NAET and Allergy Magic.
The usual advice is to ‘avoid’ the allergen, but that can be difficult.
Other treatments have been drugs, e.g. antihistamines or steroids, but these
do not correct the underlying problem and often have side effects.
